Top 12 Best Wireless Earbuds in 2020

Top 12 Best Wireless Earbuds in 2020 - My experience
My take on the best wireless earbuds in 2020

You’ve got your heart set on some wireless earbuds, but frankly you’re overwhelmed by all the options.

And I’m not surprised.

Major brands like Apple, Samsung and Sony seem to release a new pair every week. But don’t worry – I’ve got your back.

This detailed guide – the Top 12 Best Wireless Earbuds in 2020 – will help you pick the perfect earbuds for you and your budget with the minimum fuss. I’ve compiled the list based on their value for money, their sound quality, battery life and how durable they are.

But To Save You Some Time…

But To Save You Some Time:
In my opinion, Jabra Elite 75t is the best wireless earbud you can buy in 2020.

They’re incredibly lightweight, water resistant and have a plethora of cool controls that allows you to make calls and skip music tracks, for example.

What’s More:

They’re comfortable to wear (a factor that’s incredibly important to me when I’m wearing them for a good few hours a day) and they have a much better battery life than their predecessor (the 65t). The 75t earbuds have a battery life of 7.5 hours compared to the 65t’s battery life of 5 hours. They also come equipped with a funky charging case that makes it easy to charge them on the go. And that’s not all, there are other benefits that you can read about and watch in the main review/video below.

However:

There are some models of wireless earbuds that I would sincerely advise against. For example, the HuB Hi-Fi Wireless Noise Cancelling Earbuds by Discord Sound are ones that I would advise against. They promise a lot but under deliver massively.

They promise to be next gen waterproof with 8 hours battery life, instant connection, and 100 hours battery case that doubles as a power bank. But people who have used them say the earbuds haven’t gotten past 4 hours, don’t connect instantly and they certainly ain’t waterproof! What they have is an enticing marketing campaign but if you read/see the reviews of many people who bought the earbuds, you will know to steer clear.

Having Said That:

There are a number of other decent options. And if you’re currently in the market for a new pair of wireless earbuds or thinking of getting a pair in the near future for yourself or a loved one, then my list of the 12 best wireless earbuds in 2020 may help you reach a decision.

Top 12 best wireless earbuds in 2020 – Our take

1. Apple AirPods Pro – overall best wireless earbuds in 2020

Price

Best Wireless Earbuds in 2020 -Apple AirPods Pro – best overall

Apple are the brand that helped wireless earbuds shoot to fame after they released their newest models of iPhone without a headphone jack.

Since then, the Apple AirPods Pro have risen to fame in the audiophile world and have proved to be at the top of their game when it comes to wireless listening.

I personally love these earbuds due to their stylish and sleek design; they’re comfortable in the ear and they have excellent call quality.

With a battery life of 4.5 hours of listening time and 3.5 hours of talk time (and up to 5 hours with the Active Noise Cancellation technology switched off), I love how I can enjoy using these intermittently throughout the day between meetings and travelling to and from work.

They have a built-in microphone and a charging case included as standard, as well as noise-cancelling technology.

While they might not be as affordable as some of their competitors, I can happily vouch for their value for money; when it comes to Apple products, you certainly pay for what you get.

They’re also water-resistant to a certain extent (IPX4 rating), however they’re more “splash proof” rather than waterproof. Thankfully, I’ve had a lot of wear out of my pair of Apple AirPods Pro and they’ve served me well when I’ve been walking in the rain or when I’ve been working out at the gym.

Key Specs

  • Weight: 5.4g each (45.6g charging case)
  • Battery life: 5 hours with ANC turned off (24 hours with case)
  • Bluetooth: 5.0
  • Waterproof: IPX4
  • Noise cancelling: yes
  • Mics: 2
  • Warranty: 1 year

2. Jabra Elite 75t – best for outdoor wear

Price

Best Wireless Earbuds in 2020 - Jabra Elite 75t – best for outdoor wear

As I mentioned above, these are my personal favourite wireless earbuds and the ones that I’d recommend the most.

They’re not as famous as Apple or Google branded earbuds but they offer their own unique technology, design and features.

My favourite thing about the Jabra Elite 75t earbuds is that they have a two-year warranty against sweat and dust, which means they’re ideal for outdoor wear. This is a feature that I’m grateful for when I’m walking to work in the rain!

Even though I’ve never had any technical issues with the Jabra Elite 75t buds, I do enjoy the fact that I can benefit from the 2-year warranty, should I ever need to use it.

They’re also great for using when making calls as they use Clear Voice Capture (cVc) technology and offer an excellent in-ear stability when working out.

Depending on the model of phone you have, you can also connect them to the voice assistant of your choice such as Alexa, Siri or Google Assistant.

Unfortunately, they can prove to be a little tricky to set up and connect to the Jabra Sound+ app at first, but I’ve never personally experienced this issue myself; I just know that a couple of other people have had issues.

Key Specs

  • Weight: 5.5g each/35g with case
  • Battery life: 7.5 hours (28 hours with case)
  • Bluetooth: 5.0, paired devices – up to 8
  • Waterproof: IP55
  • Noise cancelling: Yes
  • Mics: Four
  • Warranty: 2 years

3. Powerbeats Pro True – best for everyday wear

Best Wireless Earbuds in 2020 - Powerbeats Pro True – best for everyday wear

If you’re looking for a perfect pair of everyday wear earbuds, then look no further than the Powerbeats Pro True wireless earbuds.

They have an astonishing 9 hours of playtime and come equipped with a built-in mic and charging case as standard.

The reason that these are ideal for all day, every day wear (alongside their lengthy battery life), is that they’re incredibly comfortable to wear. They’re made from soft, yet durable materials which means they gently cushion your ears, without compromising on fit.

While they might be considered to be slightly bulky to some people, my best friend swears by these earbuds and is reluctant to purchase any others!

They wrap around the ears which isn’t a feature suited to everyone, but I personally think that this feature makes them more comfortable to wear.

They also come in four different colours so you can choose a pair that suits you, instead of tolerating the usual standard of black or white models.

One downside to the Powerbeats Pro True earbuds is that their charging case isn’t wireless and instead requires a lightning cable to charge them.

Key Specs

  • Weight: 23g
  • Battery life: 9 hours (24 hours with charging case)
  • Bluetooth: Class 1 Bluetooth
  • Waterproof: IPX4
  • Noise cancelling: yes
  • Mics: 2
  • Warranty: 1 year

4. Anker Soundcore Liberty Air 2 – best value for money

Price

Top 12 Best Wireless Earbuds in 2020: Anker Soundcore Liberty Air 2 – best value for money

In terms of the wireless earbud world, the Anker Soundcore Liberty Air 2 are considered to be the best value for money.

They have great in-built cVc technology that makes taking and making calls an enjoyable experience and they also come equipped with wireless charging and a sleek, compact charging case.

One of the best features of these earbuds that kept cropping up on reviews online is that they’re pretty comfortable to wear due to their smooth tips and ‘twist and lock’ fit and that they’re water-resistant (with an IPX5-rated protection).

Furthermore, the battery life on the Soundcore Liberty Air 2 earbuds lasts for up to seven hours, so they’re ideal for using on long days away from the office.

Key Specs

  • Weight: 96g for both buds with case
  • Battery life: 7 hours (28 hours with charging case)
  • Bluetooth: 5.0
  • Waterproof: IPX5
  • Noise cancelling: yes
  • Mics: four
  • Warranty: 18 months

5. Jaybird Vista True Wireless – best for runners

Price

Top 12 Best Wireless Earbuds in 2020: Jaybird Vista True Wireless – best for runners

The Jaybird Vista wireless earbuds come with IPX7 water resistant technology so they’re ideal for active sportspeople. They actually have the ability to be immersed in up to 1m of water for as long as 30 minutes; but I’d personally recommend just using them for sports activities.

One of my friend’s favourite things about the Jaybird Vistas is that they have a warranty that covers damage from perspiration. So if you’re worried that they might not be holding up as well as they claim, make sure to take advantage of the warranty guarantee.

They have a battery life of 6 hours which is pretty decent and the unique Jaybird app allows you to pair them to your smartphone and even customise the sounds and controls on each earbud.

One stand out feature that I particularly like about the Jaybird Vista True Wireless buds is that they have a unique 5-minute “super-charging” feature that will give you one hour of listening time.

This is a great feature to use on a morning if you forgot to charge them the night before!

Key Specs

  • Weight: 6g per bud
  • Battery life: 6 hours (16 with case)
  • Bluetooth: 5.0
  • Waterproof: IPX7
  • Noise cancelling: yes
  • Mics: 2
  • Warranty: 2 years

Price

Top 12 Best Wireless Earbuds in 2020: Bose SoundSport Free Truly Wireless – best for bass music

For fans of deep bass music, the Bose SoundSport Free Truly Wireless earbuds are a great choice for you.

From an extensive amount of reviews I’ve read online, these earbuds are the best in the business when it comes to listening to deep, thumping music, without the bulkiness of over-ear headphones.

They only have a playtime of 5 hours, but they are water resistant and they’ve got incredible built-in sound quality and they come in four different colours.

The Bose SoundSport Free earbuds also have an optional heart rate monitor version of the same buds, albeit this does make them more expensive to purchase.

I personally love the sound of the Bose Connect smartphone app; from what I’ve heard from reviews, it sounds incredibly easy to connect to the app and it can even help you find a lost earbud if you misplace it!

Key Specs

  • Weight: 9g each bud
  • Battery life: 5 hours (10 hours with charging case)
  • Bluetooth: 5.0
  • Waterproof: IPX4
  • Noise cancelling: no
  • Mics: 2
  • Warranty: 1 year

7. Sennheiser Momentum True – best for luxury earbuds

Price

Top 12 Best Wireless Earbuds in 2020: Sennheiser Momentum True – best for luxury earbuds

If you’re looking for a pair of luxury earbuds to splash out on, then look no further than the Sennheiser Momentum True.

Sennheiser are famous in the audio listening device world for making high-end earbuds with exceptional sound quality. Their high frequency response technology makes listening to music via these earbuds a dream for your ears!

They have a Bluetooth range of up to 40 feet and while the battery life isn’t anything special (4 hours or 12 hours with charging case) the Momentum True earbuds perform exceptionally well when it comes to sound quality.

My friend has a pair of these and she claims that they’re worth every penny; the Smart Control App by Sennheiser allows you to alter the earbuds’ frequency response, as well as enabling you to listen to your surroundings without removing the earbuds from your ears.

If you can justify an investment pair of earbuds, then these are definitely the ones you’ll want!

Key Specs

  • Weight: 69.8g (both earbuds and charging case)
  • Battery life: 4 hours (12 hours with charging case)
  • Bluetooth: 5.0
  • Waterproof: IPX4
  • Noise cancelling: no
  • Mics: 2
  • Warranty: 2 years

8. Sony WF-1000XM3 True Wireless – best for noise cancellation

Price

Top 12 Best Wireless Earbuds in 2020: Sony WF-1000XM3 True Wireless – best for noise cancellation

These award-winning earbuds are the best in the market for noise cancellation earbuds.

Sony’s offering of noise-cancelling technology with these earbuds doesn’t just block out noise using a mediocre “seal” like many other models of earbuds.

The WF-1000XM3 actually rely on their built-in microphones to record noises around you and then play a negative waveform into your ears, which gives the illusion that you’re in a quiet room.

The Sony buds’ noise cancelling features work so well due to the internal and external mics cancelling out sound, giving you a great, all-round sound with little external noise.

Equipped with a decent battery life, easy to connect Bluetooth technology and a comfortable fit, the Sony WF-1000XM3 True Wireless buds cropped up time and again when searching for the best wireless earbuds in 2020.

Their design is one of the most unique I’ve seen in the earbud industry but I haven’t heard any complaints or negative reviews about them so it seems that they’re comfortable to wear!

These earbuds by Sony are an upgrade on their predecessor and I’ve actually seen them listed at the top of many “best of 2020 earbuds” lists across the internet.

Their sound quality seems great and they have a battery life of 6 hours or 24 hours with the charging case which is remarkably good and very competitive!

Key Specs

  • Weight: 8.5g per earbud
  • Battery life: 6 hours (24 hours with case)
  • Bluetooth: 5.0
  • Waterproof: IPX4
  • Noise cancelling: yes
  • Mics: 2
  • Warranty: 1 year

9. Samsung Galaxy Buds – best for flexibility

Price

Top 12 Best Wireless Earbuds in 2020: Samsung Galaxy Buds – best for flexibility

For a great performer all-round and a pair of earbuds that allow you excellent flexibility, no matter what you’re doing, then the Samsung Galaxy Buds are a fantastic contender.

I used to have a pair of these earbuds and I particularly enjoyed how sleek their design is, not to mention how comfortable they are to wear. They’re comfortable because they come equipped with three adjustable ear tips and wingtip sizes so you can choose one to suit your ears.

The classic, all-white design of the Samsung Galaxy Buds means that you can wear these without feeling “uncool”.

They’re not designed with one particular target audience in mind, but if you’re an Android or Samsung phone user, then these are a great choice for you.

The Samsung Galaxy Buds have premium sound that’s tuned by AKG. This is an optimized driver that offers remarkable bass, and the volume driver gives you a wider range of sound, making them sound great in your ears.

The wireless charging feature also make it incredibly easy to charge the buds, they have an average battery life of 6 hours, and the Samsung Galaxy Buds also offer hands-free access to the Bixby Assistant on Samsung phones.

These buds might not be quite as popular as their rivals at Apple, but they certainly pack a punch when it comes to affordable, high quality earbuds.

Key Specs

  • Weight: 140g including charging case
  • Battery life: 6 hours (13 hours with case)
  • Bluetooth: 5.0 connection
  • Waterproof: IPX2 splash resistant
  • Noise cancelling: yes
  • Mics: 2
  • Warranty: 1 year

10. Anker Soundcore Liberty Neo – best budget option

Price

Anker Soundcore Liberty Neo – best budget option

It’s no secret that earbuds don’t tend to come very cheap so the Anker Soundcore Liberty Neo buds offer an affordable option compared to many of their competitors.

While the technological features might be a little more simple, they’re still a great affordable earbud option.

These earbuds have a built-in IPX7 water-resistant feature which means you can go about your daily tasks and even endure a sweaty workout without worrying about damaging them.

Their sound quality isn’t quite as good as their counterpart (the Anker Soundcore Liberty Air 2), due to the fact that they have a lesser frequency response, but they still sound perfectly fine to listen to most genres of music and make regular calls throughout the day.

They’ve been upgraded specifically for 2020 and they also offer mega fast pairing to the Smartphone app.

Unfortunately, the battery life is only a mere 3.5 hours but you can get an additional 9 hours of playtime with the earbuds’ charging case.

Key Specs

  • Weight: 5.66g per earbud
  • Battery life: 3.5 hours (12 hours with charging case)
  • Bluetooth: 5.0
  • Waterproof: IPX5
  • Noise cancelling: yes
  • Mics: 4

• Warranty: 18 months

11. Cambridge Audio Melomania 1 – best battery life

Price

Cambridge Audio Melomania 1 – best battery life

For earbuds with an exceptional battery life, then look no further than the Cambridge Audio Melomania.

At an above-average battery life of 9 hours, these earbuds are well ahead of their competition anyway, but when you combine that with an impressive 45 hours of battery life with their charging case, you’re certainly on to a winner!

Online reviews from audiophile experts claim that these earbuds offer a detailed and high quality sound when listening to music and making calls and they also provide a stable 5.0 Bluetooth connection.

The Cambridge Audio Melomania 1 earbuds are equipped with microelectron-mechanical system microphones, which allow you to enjoy crystal clear calls that reduce background noise through the Qualcomm’s Clear Voice Capture noise-cancelling technology.

However, I’ve also heard that the Cambridge Audio Melomania earbuds can be a little tricky to fit into your ears, especially if you have small ears. A little bit of practise and patience however, and you should soon find the groove to get these buds into place!

Their small pocket-sized carry case is convenient due to its size, but also due to its impressive ability to provide an additional 36 hours of battery life on top of the original 9 hours.

If you’re someone who’s constantly travelling for work, then I think these would be a great addition to your daily accessories as you’d never have to worry about them running out of battery!

Key Specs

  • Weight: 4.6g per earbud
  • Battery life: 9 hours (45 hours with charging case)
  • Bluetooth: 5.0
  • Waterproof: IPX5
  • Noise cancelling: yes
  • Mics: 2
  • Warranty: 1 year

12. Amazon Echo Buds – best for Alexa users

Price

Amazon Echo Buds – best for Alexa users

For those of you who have an Amazon Alexa, you’ll definitely want to invest in the Amazon Echo Buds.

Complete with a decent battery life of 5 hours without and 20 hours with a charging case, as well as an unbelievable Bluetooth range of 40 feet, the Amazon Echo Buds are a competitive listening device in the earbud world.

I’ve discovered from reading many reviews of these earbuds that while they offer some noise reduction technology to minimise ambient sound, they don’t perform quite as well in terms of Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) technology as some of their competitors such as Sony and Bose, for example.

The programmed Alexa technology makes it surprisingly easy to perform everyday tasks such as setting alarms and playing Spotify.

Unfortunately, there’s not a vast range of smart gestures available with these earbuds, but they perform basic tasks that Amazon Alexa users will enjoy and appreciate.

Key Specs

  • Weight: 7.6g per earbud
  • Battery life: 5 hours (20 hours with case)
  • Bluetooth: 5.0
  • Waterproof: IPX4
  • Noise cancelling: yes
  • Mics: 3
  • Warranty: 1 year

Top 12 Best Wireless Earbuds in 2020 – things to consider when buying wireless earbuds

When it comes to buying wireless earbuds, there are a lot of factors you need to consider.

Since companies such as Apple and Google removed the headphone jack from their latest phone models, wireless headphones, in particular wireless earbuds, have become all the rage.

However, unlike other models of headphones, there are certain things you need to consider before you make the purchase such as battery life, sound quality and the size of the earbud.

Battery life

12 best wireless earbuds in 2020 - Battery life is key
Credit: Nico Jenner – Wikimedia

Battery life is one of the most important considerations you need to remember when buying a new pair of earbuds.

Most wireless and Bluetooth headphones come readily equipped with built-in rechargeable batteries, but you need to look out for how long their battery will actually last.

Of course, the better the battery life, the longer you’ll be able to listen to your favourite podcasts and music through your earbuds.

Cost

Cost is another very important factor to consider when buying wireless earbuds.

If you have a budget in mind that you want to spend on a new pair of wireless earbuds, then you will be limited to only a handful of different models.

Good quality earbuds don’t come cheap, with a few exceptions, so typically speaking, the more you spend on a new pair, the better they’re likely to perform.

Sound quality

12 best wireless earbuds in 2020 - Sound Quality Matters
Credit: Alexey Ruban-unsplash

Sound quality has a certain list of criteria of its own that should be met when you’re investing in a new pair of wireless earbuds.

Most high quality wireless earbuds are not fitted with aptX technology. This type of audio technology compresses and then immediately decompresses audio as it travels from a phone to the wireless earbuds, without damaging the quality of the sound. Therefore, music and sounds played through earbuds that don’t have aptX won’t be as clear and bright.

Unless you’re an avid audiophile, you probably won’t be able to tell the difference between aptX technology fitted earbuds and ones without, but if you’re particular about the level of sound quality, this is definitely something to look out for.

Comfort

Unlike over-ear headphones, earbuds slot right into your ear and rest against your concha and tragus (if you want to get really technical!), so it’s imperative that they fit properly and they’re comfortable.

Of course, there’s no real way of knowing just how comfortable a pair of wireless earbuds are until you’ve tried them out, but you can make sure you read detailed reviews (like the ones below!) so you have a better idea of how they might fit your ear.

Noise cancelling effects

12 best wireless earbuds in 2020 - Noise cancellation is important
Credit: Chairulfajar – unsplash

Noise cancelling features are another factor you need to look out for when buying wireless earbuds.

However, you also need to bear in mind that the better the noise cancelling effects of the earbuds, the shorter the battery life is likely to be. This is because the technology and circuitry that goes into creating the noise cancelling effect will eat away at your battery life.

As you can see, there’s plenty of things to consider when buying wireless earbuds; you need to have a good idea in mind of what you want out of your new pair of earbuds before you commit to purchasing.

Top 12 Best Wireless Earbuds in 2020 – How to protect your ears when using earbuds

12 best wireless earbuds in 2020 - Protecting Your Ears
Credit: Donn Dughi – Wikimedia

While I’m a firm believer that earbuds are an excellent modern-day, technological invention and I’m a huge advocate for earbuds, I do recognise that there are some potential damages that can be caused to your ears.

If, like me, you’re a regular user of earbuds, I’ve included this section as part of our guide on the top 12 best wireless earbuds in 2020 below on how to protect your ears when using earbuds.

As part of my research for this review guide, I kept coming across certain worries and queries about the damages that earbuds can do to your ears so I’m here to reassure you and to show you ways you can protect your ears!

Be aware of the shape and design of the earbuds

My first tip for protecting your ears while wearing earbuds is to be fully aware of the shape and design of the earbuds you’re wearing.

Not all models of earbuds are the same shape and size so not every design might be suitable for you.

If you have small ears, then you might want to avoid bulkier models of earbuds such as Bose and Cambridge Audio. These brands of earbuds tend to be a little trickier to wear for people with smaller ears so just be aware of this when purchasing a new pair of buds.

Don’t listen to loud music for an extended period of time

This goes without saying when listening to music via any audio device, but it’s especially important when wearing earbuds.

Loud music that’s being blasted directly into your ears via your earbuds can cause damage to your ear drum if you listen to it for an extended period of time.

This means that you should be careful not to blast booming music through your earbuds for many hours at a time.

Limit your use of earbuds to just a few hours a day

Similarly to avoiding listening to loud music for long periods of time, you should also limit your use and wear of earbuds to just a few hours a day.

Of course, if you’re using the earbuds mainly just to make and take calls, then this isn’t quite as bad as listening to loud music all day long, but you still need to take care of your outer ear too.

Even if you feel that your earbuds are very comfortable, they will still be applying pressure to your ears in some way, so try not to wear them all day, every day if you can help it.

Stop wearing them if you can feel irritation in your ears

This might seem like common sense, but it’s imperative that you stop wearing your earbuds immediately if you feel any discomfort.

Don’t try and push through just because you want to listen to the latest Taylor Swift album!

Your ears are incredibly important parts of your body and you need to look after them as well as possible, so if you start to feel any irritation or discomfort due to wearing earbuds, make sure you stop using them immediately.

Check with your doctor if your ears feel sore

That brings me on to my next point; always check with your doctor if your ears start to feel sore for a prolonged period of time.

Your doctor will be able to advise you as to whether you need to stop using earbuds altogether, or whether you just need to buy a better fitting pair.

Either way, it’s important that you keep your ears protected while using earbuds and make sure you look after your hearing, while still enjoying listening to great music through your earbuds!

  1. Hello, I really appreciate your time and effort on writing about these top 12 wireless earbuds which all seem to be of high quality. I have never had the Jabra Elite wireless earbuds, however I have had a Jabra stereo headset which had lasted me many years, so I am familiar with the Jabra brand and know they produce high quality products. Its great to hear they’re ideal for outdoor wear because that’s exactly why I want wireless earbuds, to wear them while I am outside jogging.

  2. hello sam. true wireless earbuds are one of those ideas that sounded like a dream. thinking of the fact you Pop a tiny little earbud into each ear and listen to music untethered from everything. it is mind blowing. i loved the Cambridge Audio Melomania from your review, i think it has the best battery life i have seen so far and i am getting it shortly.

    • Yes Benny – these things are a brilliant innovation especially now that they no longer come with wires at all. I’m pleased you found one earbud that tickles your fancy – the Cambridge Audio Melomania is remarkable let alone for its long battery life. So you won’t go wrong buying it.

And lastly, thanks for your comments.

  3. Hello, Since Apple’s AirPods became a runaway hit, so many companies have rolled out their own true wireless earbuds and earphones. Of course not all of them are worth our time or money. But I have tired the Samsung Galaxy bud and I can tell you that I am impressed with what they have done. It is simply mind blowing especially when used with a Samsung phone.

    • Hi Dolapo,

      Thank you for your contribution.

Clearly, you are sold on wireless earbuds and I can appreciate your praise for the Galaxy Buds. I have a friend who bought a pair this past Black Friday and she was equally full of praise.

      Cheers

  4. Thanks for such an interesting and useful article, getting accessories to use most times can get hard because of the varieties that are always available for you to pick from, it’s good as you e narrowed it down to best 12 and for even recommending Jabra Elite, I love the features and I’ll get one.

  5. I so much agree with you that comfortability is very important when considering which wireless earbuds to buy for personal use, as the market is being flooded with so many products, only few can meet up to the standard and requirements of the customers. I’d rather go for an expensive one with better quality, to enjoy luxury you have to be prepared to pay for it.

    • For sure, comfortability is paramount especially the more and the longer you use the earbuds. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

  6. What i appreciate most about wireless earbuds is that incomparable comfort it offers, it is a good feeling to work around and do chores without being bothered by wires and cords of ear plugs. For someone who enjoys sound quality like me, I’ll go with the Jabra that you’ve suggested, thanks for that anyways.

    • Hi Roseline,

Yes the Jabra Elite 75t is a really good choice and I didn’t even go into great detail regarding its sound quality which is also sterling.

Thank you for reading and contributing to the post.

  7. I have had a lot of earbuds over the years and i have enjoyed making use of the really smalls ones that isn’t very noticeable to people around. The last i made use of was the iPhone earbud until my son spoiled it. The list here is vteeu nice and the Samsung Galaxy Buds is really cool and i would like to get it for myself. 8. Having a good earbuds gives me so much joy because I am an introvert and always enjoy being on my own with my music alone. So far, I have always had serious issues when it comes to picking a good earbud for my device. I’m currently making use of an earpiece but I think it’s time to get one of this earbuds for my phone. Hope they are not selective with phone ?

    • Hey Bella,

Thanks for your comment. No these earbuds aren’t selective. As long as your smartphone/device has Bluetooth connection – which is the case with virtually all devices these days, you will be able to pair the earbuds with your device.

      Cheers

  9. Love your article.

It is well researched and so easy to read.

I must admit I am not a frequent user of ear buds as I struggle with tinnitus.

There are so many different brands and clearly you have chosen the best buys for your money’s worth as well as excellent quality.

I am a Apple fan so clearly I think for long term use and excellent quality I will for sure buy the apple brand.

    • HI Desire,

Really appreciate your contribution to the thread.

Plus I note your comment on your challenge with the ear condition – tinnitus. That’s why included a section on taking care of your ears when using a pair of earbuds.

Although I recommended Jabra Elite – the newly released Apple Airpods Pro are remarkable and I wouldn’t expect Apple fans to opt for anything other than it.:)

  10. Hello Femi and thank you very much for this detailed article. It came at the right time for me, I actually have no experience in wireless earbuds and I need a pair now. They are much more practical compared to wired ones. Thanks for the comparison on all aspects, I now have an idea of the ones I will buy!

  11. Hi Femi,

Much appreciated for the informative piece. I’m currently considering purchasing earphones and your article has given me a wider perspective on alternatives to the more commonly known Apple Airpods. I’m erring towards the Jabra Elite’s and will keep you posted as to when I actually make a purchase.
