They also state that when the pack is full, it becomes difficult to fit a wide bottle in the mesh pockets. Additionally, the front compartment is quite limited in terms of space and can’t accommodate larger items when the main compartment is loaded out.
But other than that, the Fairview and Farpoint packs from Osprey are both very well-rated and positively reviewed bags you can trust.
Tom Bihn Synapse 25
Summary: A sturdy bag that will fit like a glove as it’s designed to fit taller frames.
In its description, Tom Bihn claims that this bag is “great for everyday carry, ultralight travel, or a day hike or for those who are on the taller end of the spectrum”, and from what I have seen, it genuinely lives up to that claim.
One of the best things about the Synapse 25 is how customizable it is. The shoulder, chest, and hip straps are all adjustable, so you can tweak them until you get the perfect fit. What’s more, the edgeless, padded, and breathable mesh design of these straps ensures that they won’t bite into your skin or get sweaty while you wear the backpack for an extended amount of time.
And even when you’re carrying a lot of weight, you’ll stay dry and comfortable thanks to the breathable mesh back panel of the Synapse 25. This is particularly important for taller persons who may find that backpacks tend to tin against their backs and cause discomfort.

What’s not great
The Tom Bihn Synapse 25 has a lot of good things going for it, but it also has some drawbacks.
According to Alice and Jjustchavez, this bag’s appearance is dated and seems to be made for people in their 30s and older. I’d admit that it’s hardly the most stylish bag out there.
It also doesn’t come with a protective laptop sleeve unless you spend extra money on a laptop cache. As such, it can be argued that this backpack is large and expensive, especially because it is missing a padded laptop sleeve.

I am tall, so I often have those problems you describe, especially because I live in a country where tall women are a little “unusual.” So, most clothes are too short and I order on Amazon or go to boutiques.
The TravelPro Maxlite Air Compact looks great and I like the color. Kowing my luck, I’ll probably get issues with the zippers which would be a shame.
